The Academy has policies in place to ensure that every child has fair access to the Academy. An application form for the Academy can be obtained by calling into the madrasa, or alternatively downloading from the website. All applicants will be required to submit an application form with a copy of the student’s current passport and Birth certificate. Unfortunately if the application is unsuccessful none of the items can be returned.
To process any application there is a NON REFUNDABLE admission fee of £20.
Usually around summer term, the prospective student and their parent will have the opportunity to see the premises, meet staff, and ask any questions about the curriculum provision in the madrasa. On this day they will also pick up all their equipment.
Parents are advised that admission is granted to prospective pupils in the following order of priority:
· Pupils with sisters/brothers at the madrasa.
· First come, first serve basis.
If students are placed on a waiting list parent/guardian will be informed of their position on the list. No priority shall be given to parents wishing to enrol their child after withdrawing from the waiting list, after refusing a place, or, having withdrawn their child partway through the academic year. In all of these cases the application will be treated as a new one, and so, the applicant will be placed at the end of the waiting list.

NB. Currently Olive Academy is unable to cater for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and for whom English is an additional language (EAL). Hence, such applicants will not be granted admission.
